AN INTRODUCTION |
| At the end of last season, it was becoming apparent, that due to frequent managerial changes, and the subsequent leasing out of the pub to people who had no interest in hosting a CSC, that our former club would have to find new premises. This proved to be more difficult than first anticipated, and an offer of premises was accepted, that didn’t suit all concerned. We had reached Impasse |

FINDING PREMISES |
| As many of us stay in and around Kilburn, it was felt that this is where we wanted to be. As our former club, The Robert Emmet had relocated outside of Kilburn, this left the area without a recognised supporters club. It was decided to form another club and keep it in Kilburn, if possible. Premises, as usual, were to be the main problem. After talking to Christy Kissane at “The Kingdom”, it was agreed, that we could have exclusive use of the upstairs function room on match days. We were no longer homeless, all we needed now was a name. Oh, and a few members would be nice! |

SPIRIT OF ‘67 CSC |
How do you name a supporters club? There’s always going to be someone who’s not happy with the name. Name it after a former, or current player and someone will tell you he was never good enough to wear the Hoops! Go back too far in time, and no-one can remember them.
Apart from the formation of Celtic Football Club, in 1888, the biggest day in the clubs history, was undoubtedly the lifting of the European Cup on the 25th May, 1967, in Lisbon. That day, Celtic showed Internazionale how the game should be played! That team had a spirit, which has yet to be eclipsed, and we are delighted to name our supporters club in their honour. No argument with that! |

MEMBERSHIP
|
| A meeting was held in ‘The Kingdom’, and all in attendance decided that they would join the new CSC, and remain in Kilburn. To date, the club membership stands at 21. It’s a good start, and with the beginning of the season looming, the club can only grow in stature. |
